Through all the crazy commercialism and attempts at secularizing these beautiful Holidays, let us not forget the TRUE meaning of Christmas,the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. I found this video today, and it made me cry. I have always loved Amy Grant, and this is a truly beautiful song. The video "The Nativity" and the song go perfectly together.

The wacky environmentalist nutbags are at it again!! The new threat to our fair globe is.... man's best friend. You got it- more threatening than the big, bad SUV's that used to run over them. Take a gander at this article from Yahoo:

They even asked some enviro-wacko to calculate pets' eco-pawprint. I am not kidding. Just when I thought the loons couldn't get any loonier, they go and prove me wrong. What is the solution (according to those same loons)? Make sure your pet is dual purpose. You know, you could serve the cute little bunny you gave your kids for Easter as your 4th of July main course.

Yeah...and the kids, too.

I am sure we will all soon be able to buy carbon pawprint offsets. I am also sure that somehow , some way, Al Gore will rake in the dough from that scam. I don't know about you, but now I want at least three more animals just because of this article.

Bad parenting? Maybe, maybe not. I thought I had heard pretty much everything. I guess I was wrong. This really is a very sad story. I wish this young mother and her children the very best.
